Hundreds of fiber-optics on the surface of the sphere,illuminatedby a white LED with a twinkle light engine, to make the sparkling effect. It is now keeped and protected on a safe shelf. Since it is a home-made model it has no package, and it was constantly hand-managed just to build it and test the lights functions. Each type of light has their own electric transformer. The main power comes from a cable connection to a domestic 120 V plug. The model was made with the sphere toy, placed on a box to host the fiber-optics, LEDs and electric connections, and modified to show hundreds of illuminated end-to-end fiber-optics on the surface of the sphere with 3 different light effects, wich are controlled with 3 different switches placed on a side of the box, as shown in the pictures.
